Oh wow, Conker! Seems pretty smooth too (before the core dump, that is).
So if i get this right you now can use Wii's internal NAND as a secondary RAM pool, kinda like slot 2 flashcards do on DS? To help with loading of large roms.

Aside from that, did the renderer further improve ? AFAICT Conker ran pretty smooth in the video and i remember wii64 averaged 5 fps according to the team, so this clearly is rendering faster. Also wouldn't that be risky to the NAND in the long term?

maybe on the wiiu :glare:
Why the pessimism?

Currently, this runs on Wii and as far as I know, this is a MAJOR improvement in N64 emulation.
The only thing missing is some code improvement to prevent code dumps.

Extrems, these are EXCELLENT news! Thank you for everything you have done this far!

Do you think Extremis could port the GLIDE64FINAL graphics plugin from 2011 to Not64? Because that Plugin is phenomenal!

Have a small List with FrameBuffer Texture settings. Note that this is for Dynarec only, as Interpreter runs everything. I also have to state that I have tested all those games and I am not posting games here I have not tested personally. I know there Is a list on page 5 but just a small rundown. Perhaps somebody should do a wiki list:

Jet Force Gemini - Works, Minor Issues (FB Textures ON)

hi, I tried playing this game but I had a little problem

my character instead of shadow has a big black square down his feet.

that's one of those "minor issues" or I could solve it changing some settings?

Unfortunately,I don't think that there is any way to solve this issue.
I have tried all the possible settings without luck.

But,this is the minor issue here. For me, I can't find any possible button mapping that makes the game playable, whatever I tried...

thanks for answering, it's not a very big deal this "shadow",
I still have a n64 and a relative had this game... i'll ask him for it, maybe i'm lucky and still has it hehe

There's only one major change set in stone:
On Wii, the ROM cache was replaced with a NAND-backed VM driver by tueidj.

Don't expect this.

It is pretty admirable the progress you have done! Conker running in Wii64 is a marvel alone!

I am curious if the next relaese of Not64 will have solved the camera issues with Donkey Kong 64.Have you tried it?

Finally, can you tell us ( or give us an estimate ) when the next revision will be made public for all of us?

Yes, the Shadow is the minor issue here. I found no problems with the button configuration. Perhaps I am used to play it in a different way than you do? I mapped the Buttons exactly like the N64 and never ran into an issue here. I am using the GameCube Controler so I have no idea how it would play on a classic controler though.

Simple really, use the wiimote & nunchuck!
Nunchuck: N64 Z (Z), N64 analog, N64 B (c)
Wiimote D-pad: 4c buttons N64
Wiimote A: N64 A
Wiimote B: N64 R
You can swap them if you please but this is really close to the feel of the original N64 controller that this game was designed in mind with.

@ nakata6790 your button mapping is by far the best so far! I changed only wiimote B to nynchuck Z for personal preference!

Thank you!!!:grog:

P.S I wonder how much difficult is to set up an auto reload after a code dump. It is a pain to unplug Wii U everywhile...
