EDIT:What import duty will be charged if i buy 3ds from amazon.com shipping to India. (free shipping it will take 18-31 days)(standard shipping $3.99 8-10 days)(there are two more 1st, 2-5 days $13.99 and 2nd, 1-2 days $23.99)

Hey today i just went on amazon.com and the price of nintendo 3ds was $249.99.

Then i added it to cart and resumed to check out,but the price showed $353.63(they are the import duty and tax)
OR
I can just order it to my sister living in salt lake city and she can post me that.

Looks like if you buy it anywhere online it wil cost you approximately 70$ more as overheads so you're better off asking a relative or friend to get it for you.

India is one of the biggest countries in the world and you are not the only one who wants to play nintendo

but it can take time of more than 3 months,which one will cost less
1.by importing it from us.
2.by mail or post in india

So you might as well wait and check out the prices.
If the difference is just a few dollars compared to 249$ then you might as well buy it here.

I'm in contact with an Indian temper called bowser. He said that it costs 16k in Hyderabad. I live in Delhi and it costs almost the same here so I wouldn't expect Bangalore to be any cheaper.

but what the heck about nagpur.
They just get delayed by 1-2 months.
that's why i hate to live in nagpur

Buy the US version.
The JP version's menu and manual are in japanese so you wont be able to understand anything.
Also make sure that you buy US region games because the 3DS is region locked.
