Gaming Need to buy a new console

Hey guys i am here from at least 4 months and it it looked too odd to me that everyone has or had a nintendo(any)

So now i have decided to buy buy a nintendo (any) and my budget is approx 150$.
I live in India and it has its own currency.
Is it a good idea buying a nintendo from shoptemp (or any online store)

If i do buy from online ,how the payment shall be done (the price(s) are in $ and my curreny is in INR.
Will it have any effect on my budget.

If I bought any nintendo what accessories shall i need to buy?(for running hacked games as well as save files,etc)
I read rydians guide and somewhat understood it.

Maybe if you try hard you could get a DSi XL otherwise DSi is good.
But I advise you to save 100 more and get a 3DS

I agree with Rockstar.
Save up a bit more and go for the 3DS. That way you can play 3DS games on top of using a DS flashcarts to play back ups

As for India.. I am not sure if any online shops ships there. But if you buy at shops there, I bet they will rip you off with a really high pricetag.

well go for the dsl or the dsi thats if you wanna play downloaded games from the net on a flashcard or go with the 3ds if you wanna buy the games and wait until its hacked or something like that

is 3ds compatible with games of ds.

It will take at least 2 months to buy a 3ds.
I know it is worth it,but can non-3ds games run on it

As for the hack there may be at least some games.

And what about accessories.

If any shops online(shoptemp,or any else) they sell in $ ,so will they charge me extra rate for INR currency

The 3DS isn't available here and I'm importing mine from America.

The 'lock' as you call it, is the region lock that the 3DS has. This means that, if you buy it from a particular region, games from only that region will work on your 3DS.

Lastly, if you order from another country, you'll have to pay the customs duty.
