To anybody who helped me with my issues, I'm sorry for being so hesitant about my r button or anything else.I was reading your signature and I have the same problems with one of my PS2 Slims! I just went out and bought a new console since the power button requires soldering, which I have never done in my life. Also, the disc laser just broke out of nowhere. No idea how that happened lmao.

@Veho, Sounds and smells like bullshit. They don't give you cancer, and California should know that. I don't get why they stick labels that say "may or may not cause reproductive harm or cancer". -
