Through PayPal? I've done that. It's like normal PayPal but instead it needs to transfer form your bank account and into PayPal, then to whoever you are paying to. And yeah you must have a bank account as it is an alternative to a credit card through PayPal. And yes PayPal is very safe and secure as only PayPal sees your information not whoever you are paying to.

dunno why they would take it, just pay by normal debit/credit card, its just as secure if not more than paypal.

most people don't know this, but not only do paypal not allow you to claim back money unless it is an ebay transaction, but you also sign away your rights to claim back your money through your credit card when you sign up for paypal.
