All I am looking for is a file called filmplay.bin. This used to exist on the supercard website, which no longer exists. Thus, all download links no longer exist or are outdated. This file allowed you to access "GBA Movie Player" on your flashcart. With this file on the SuperCard, it would be able to recognize gbm (gameboy movie) and gbs (gameboy sound) files. Using the client for GBA Movie Player would allow you to convert your MP3/MP4 files. I'm currently an EZ Flash IV user, having recently upgraded from my SuperCard SD Mini. Having discovered this 13 years late - I was wondering if anybody can provide this file (filmplay.bin) if they happen to have it. I've spent hours online and there is absolutely nothing. There are youtube videos from only the past few years of people showing off this feature (usually Chinese or Spanish) but ofcourse there are no download links. Please help me!!!

Thanks that's exactly what i was looking for. Got music to work perfectly. My only problem now is videos. Im using the 'GBA movie player movie converter version 1.50', which is the correct format for converting AVI to GBM. However, when the conversion process finishes a windows notification pops up saying that their was a problem and it shuts down the firmware. The .gbm gets sent to my sd card destination, but the result is good audio but a mess of pixels on the screen. Is there some sort of compatibility issue with the English version, cuz there's a YouTube vid of a guy using the same firmware in Chinese and it works flawlessly...

Please help!

Also realized that the guy in the video is using the V1.3 version. Does anybody know where i can find that? That might be the problem...

**Edit it's Japanese not Chinese

The problem is actually with the converter software, not the filmplay file itself. You want the 1.3 converter software from http://web.archive.org/web/20050409083311/http://www.movieadvance.com/Download.htm

I'm basing this off of my old experiences that I wrote down to the PH wiki before it died: https://web.archive.org/web/20090406052418/http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/Supercard

The Supercard can use music and movie software for the GBA such as Meteo and GSM Player, though it also contains built-in support for the GBS and GBM sound and movie files normally used by the GBA Movie Player via a "filmplay.gba" file available from the official website. However, the conversion software supplied on the same page is not the right version, and any movies converted with it will have garbage data for video though the audio will come through cleanly. To fix this, you need the 1.3 version of the converting tools, not the 1.22 version from the Supercard site. Use this Wayback Machine archive page to get the installation file for 1.3 and then install it. The installer file actually installs both 1.22 and 1.3, using 1.3 for the GBA movie converter and 1.22 for the NDS Crystal Engine convert. Strangely, if the NDS Crystal Engine program files are missing when you launch the GBA movie converter program, it will re-install them before continuing. Regardless, as long as you launch the right program you should be able to convert movies that play back correctly in the filmplay.gba file from the Supercard site.

lately I downloaded super mario galaxy for wii, but in the first phase, right in the first cutscene of the game, the game freezes in that part, with the image appearing but completely frozen. I already had this problem with pikmin 2 but in the end I couldn't fix the problem. Has anyone had this problem, and if so, did you find a solution?
