The much awaited Monster Hunter World is set to hit consoles shortly and now we have an idea about when it will land it will land on PCs.

In a tweet in the official Monster Hunter account, Ryozo Tsujimoto, MHW's producer gave an update regarding the PC version, stating that "we're working hard on it right now and aiming for an Autumn 2018 release. We'll update you with more details later and thank you for your patience."

I am pretty sure they said around the release of the switch that they had no plans of ever translating the 3ds version of XX for a western release and would only do a switch Port.

Capcom has proved that they can make competent PC ports (DmC, Dragon's Dogma, Resident Evil) so I'm assuming this will get a good port, too. The gap in release was to be expected, anyways, when they didn't mention anything about the PC port's launch date for quite a while. I don't enjoy the series at all, but I'm always open to more games getting PC versions.
