Hello GBATemp users :) I’ve been homebrewing Nintendo systems for years. I haven’t felt the need to ask a question to the homebrew community till now. I’ll just get to the point. I have a hacked DSi with CFW and a New 3DS with CFW as well. I’ve wanted to play local wireless multiplayer on Mario hoops. I’m using the rom on my DSi and I recently also put the rom on the 3DS. I’ve tried hosting on both systems and trying to join but neither of them detect the other system. These systems, as they are, work normally with any other multiplayer wireless communication. For some reason it doesn’t want to work with this particular game. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Are you using nds-bootstrap? (That's how TWiLight Menu runs DS and DSi games) Try disabling Card Read DMA?

Yes I am using nds-bootstrap. Also where is the card read DMA in the settings exactly? I can’t seem to find it. Looking this up shows that it’s a bit of a problem recently. I had no idea that it had anything to do with my problem or that it even existed 😅.

In the per-game settings. Press Y on the game in TWiLight Menu++ to open it

Thank you both so much. I don’t understand it completely, but it worked instantly. Thank you again!

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar

@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
