Don't know anything about this but it might work, swap your M3 firmware to R4 firmware with M3 adapter??

Again, I know nothing of what this will enable you to do but it might be worth a try, don't kill me if I am talking rubbish because I haevn't used this

or alternately, u can try using the DSATM to patch ur rom,not sure if it helps and in the worse case scenario, either do what elixir says or pray

Just an update here on the lack of progress... It seems like there is much more going on that doesn't occur in an emulator. AKRPG + AKAIO, R4 with v1.18, DSTT all fail...

Tried and failed. I'm starting to lose hope in getting to play this on my M3 after counting down to this game's release. =(

So I assume there is no way we can patch the ROM to work?

Well.... i know many of us are mario fans

if cheat codes, patching doesn't help and you are not willing to part with m3
leave you no choice just patiently wait for a firmware fix from m3 team

I have an R4 and I can't get past the save screen, it just goes black. I'm using the code, and I'm assuming that my lack of "YSMenu"/"R4YSauto" is where I'm going wrong. I kind of have no idea what it is and what to do with it, and the topic for it offers very vague information for an noob such as myself.

ya, just wait like the rest of us edge users, hopefully, by march, we have a new version since based on estimation, EDGE has a firmware update like once every 2 months, so hopefully we and u will be waiting together

Listen every M3 user. I played this game through DeSMuME emulator, and enjoyed some of it, but it ran slow on my computer. If you want to play it, try DeSMuME on your computer, with the DSATM patch cheat.

I personally don't want to get another flashcart just to play one game, its not ideal for me. I might as well buy the Japanese version of this game if its so hard to play on certain DS cards.

But as I have been on this thread checking hourly, I am still awaiting a magical solution to all this. Thanks for all your help guys, you rock for trying to help us DSTT, M3, and itouchDS users.

Well, anyway, to show my appreciation to everyone who is helping out poor me, I thought I would make a Mario and Luigi RPG Pit-esque drawing for you guys.

I drew the above for a tribute to everyone here helping me, because I know nothing of this code stuff, and I thank you guys SERIOUSLY for trying!

Yeah same here, I'm checking this topic a lot hoping that solution will pop up. I've played a bit on different emulators (because I'm ripping sprites too) and it makes me even more anxious for a fix... Let's hope someone can solve this.

Now, I don't know anything about YSMenu, but is it possible to use it on M3s? That might work, then again, maybe not. Hopefully cracker or someone can figure out what's making it not work...
