Hacking Luma3DS - Noob-proof 3DS Custom Firmware

Latest Luma version. I don't think any patches are enabled. I think it is a HOME Menu bug.

Well, if you have any of those new fancy custom Home Menus then it's quite likely you might run into this bug.
Other than that, I don't know. Maybe try compiling a Luma version without injector patches?
If you need help I can point you to where you should remove/comment code. Due to the camelCase style however, it's quite easy to figure out what to edit

EDIT: Does it happen with *ALL* titles, including web browser, theme shop, and regular apps?

The only home menu patch is the region free one, so I highly doubt it's that

Is there a reason why when starting the HOME Menu, the screens stay black even when the background music starts playing, and the screens cut in after a few seconds?

Actually, all of HOME Menu are working, even if the screens are black for a few seconds. Instead of the menu fading in, it instantly shows up. It's a bug with the HOME Menu.

You need to use the fixed version of ctrbootmanager9, it's somewhere on this thread

Hm, I've done a lot of testing with this and so have a lot of other people and we haven't had problems. Let me google that error a bit and see what I can get figured out.

I live in Japan and have a US N3DS with Luma/A9LH. Nintendo Zone is dead in the US, but it's alive and well in Japan. Would it be possible to force region using the Luma locale folder method in order to use Nintendo Zone on my US system?

It's a commit behind the latest I think. It was compiled right before the newest release. But people have had luck with it when the newest buold doesn't work

Tried you file and still no good. It is odd as everything was working perfectly up to loading SafeA9LHInstaller. Once i completed this step i could no longer open Decrypt9

Is there a way to uninstall SafeA9LHInstaller then reinstall it?

Safea9lhinstaller doesn't get installed, its just the installer. What does your 3ds do without the sd card in?

When i take the SD out, the 3ds does not power on, which from what i have read ion other forums is normal.
