install the .cia version of the fbi and hide the old HS app (that is now fbi) in some place like a folder...
the injection plays a role in the guide, but after the guide is done there is no real reason to use fbi as an injected file anymore (or update it)
so, install the cia of the new version and there ya go
leave the hs alone, install the cia. so if you accidentally delete the new version you still have the injected old version in an emergency
Well, there is actually reasons to maintain the injected FBI and a updated one:
1 - If user needs to replace the sd card and doesn't have a backup of their Nintendo 3DS folder, the user will lose the CIA version of FBI and will need to reinject the FBI onto H&S. Without restoring H&S app even if the user change SD cards or even reformat the system it will be retained.
2 - Updating to 2.X and up will offer a more noob proof version, that automatically adjusts where to install the CIAs (if I'm not mistaken the 2.X versions does a auto direction of the target of installations).

Two questions. I installed luma and some cia's with fbi.

1. You can update the installed games via eshop like normal?
2. What's with the firmware? To access the eshop you need the highest available firmware? And what's with games that need higher firmwares than 9.2?

Hum everytime I try to run an out-of-region cia on Luma last release (sysnand, a9lh, o3ds), it asks to accept EULA or something. Is it normal ?
It makes some app completly unusable, like the youtube app, which doesn't even load because of that, and your 3ds hangs on forever, you must turn it off.

You can use Config.cia to accept out of region EULA.

Region emulation works through the NS application system application which sets the language for games. However, XYORAS don't use the NS for their language and is set by the savefile.

That being said, region emulation still works so you can get out of region event pokemon.
I tried with AS and I created a locales folder, inside I put the .txt with the Game tittle ID (which is the same for EUR, USA, JPN) then I opened the .txt and inside I typed EUR ES and tried to get darkrai, nothing. My Game is still showing english and cant get the event pokemon. I think my cia is region free and legit. What could be wrong?

Hm. The language won't change because of what I was taking about with NS, but out of region event stuff should work (I did it with xerneas)

I read it. And I tried ''EUR EN'' and still couldn't get darkrai. It is trying to get the Zygarde event and not darkrai, I deleted config the config file and set it up again and still nothing. So I gave up and maybe I can get it later by just getting the wonder card.
