No, if you want AuReiNand to boot sysNAND by default.

Probably a really stupid question, but I'm trying to update aurei to the newest version and just dragging/dropping results in nearly instant booting into Emunand. but, unlike the previous version holding X won't bring up Decrpyt9 and holding L glitches out the screen/freezes on a red screen. I Followed https://github.com/Plailect/Guide/wiki/Part-5-(Old-3DS) to setup A9/Aurei should I have deleted anything while updating? or what? I returned to the older version and everything works perfectly but I'd like to update if I can.

Run the ARM9LoaderUpdater from emuNAND 9.2, right now, the updater needs FIRM 9.0 to exploit ARM9, so it can't run from sysNAND running 9.6/10.2/10.4 FIRM AFAIK.

I've got to use the installer again, it just hangs on Exploiting ARM9, is it normal or I just don't have luck?

Did you load emuNAND 9.2 pressing L? And do you have the firmware90.bin too? It shouldn't hang there according to what I have read.

Yes, I was doing everything right, I kept trying and it finally worked.
No more flashing screen thanks to FIX94 build.

Pure really cold booting, no bootloader, just AuReiNand + Decrypt9. Perfect.

NTR 3.2 and region free patcher dont work for region free. Only HANS works but it disables the home button so i cant exit the game without shutdown. Any other solution for region free? O am using 10.6emuNAND and A9LH

Both NTR 3.2 with 10.2 FIRM and Multi Free Patcher work for me on out of region games, both patch the home menu for the checks. Your problem may be elswhere, only thing the console does is deny you from seeing the software title in the menu before you region free patch it.
Well, it might also stop execution on some level but same thing anyway once patched out

Software title can be seen in the menu but not the banner and when i choose it, i get the error occured console shutdown bla bla message. Same thing happens with region free parcher and NTR. That is unless i use HANS for region free. Thanks for the answer though, gonna try to find the culprit.

I have not had these problems using any CFW and region freedom patching, though I ever only tested one title. It also could be need of cryptofixing if it is newer title etc.

Question I have a modified arm9loaderhax manager I saw on Reddit where if I hold select it boots Uncart or hold in A it boots decrypt9, should I update and put the the decrypt9 in the two folder renamed so on boot I can hold in L+R or update and just leave it as is

You can use ftp-3ds or the data management app.
