I'm looking to buy a new PS3 that is jailbreakable. Is there anyway to tell the manufacture date to know if it is jailbreakable. I know on 360's they can be JTAGed if they were made before July of 09. If I managed to buy one made in July or August would it still be on 3.41 or would they have it updated with 3.42 or higher?

new in store are 3.41 so far there has not been reports of others firmware so far.

As for downgrader Its not been comfirmed by a reliable source so far a video is not enough for me. PSjailbreak were going around for months saying they were gonna crack 3.5 firmware they did not . downgrader would be still over 150$ retail so is it really worth it when is half the price of a new ps3 with a controller.

Buy your ps3 now and you are ok.

    If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.

    and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
