Hello guys,
i need your help to solve this issue, i really have tried everything.
i have a FAT PS3 stuck on OFW 2.60, the update will get error 8002f147 at 17%
  • tried via internet update
  • tried via update from original game
  • tried with usb stick in fat32 (the usb stick successfully update 2 other ps3)
so i have :
  • cleaned entirely the ps3, change cmos 24 after remove the previous one and change thermal paste.
  • tried to swap with another BD Drive / change the bd cable with a another one
  • change HDD with fat32 // tried via ntfs and these drive are ok on other ps3
i read all tips online to fix it but i doesn't work
Do you have an idea to update to OFW 4.91 or CFW ? what are my options ?

The error code 8002f147 means " unable to reset" Try to Reset your PS3 Controller (if wireless, Little button front/left side) Then use a USB cable then try updating again. The controller could be the problem especially if you've used it on your PC before.

When you swapped the bd drive did you also swap the pcb as they are married to the console and the update will not proceed if the drive pcb does not match.
