Gaming Is it possible to switch out a Lite-On Drive with a BenQ?

Basically I have a lite-on drive and don't have the money or means to buy all the extra equipment to mod it.

So I have my old flashed BenQ drive, and I was wondering if I could just put that one in there and run games?

I know you'd have to spoof it, but obviously i don't have the tools so I can't retrieve the key.


WHAT I REALLY WANT TO KNOW IS: Can I just use the BenQ drive, not caring about being banned or anything? I just want to keep the console offline and play backups. that's it.

You need the key from the lite-on if you want to switch drives. No way around it.

You'll also need the serial number from the top of the Lite-on too. I spoofed my Benq as a Lite-on, but then I have a Jtagged console so I was able to get the DVD key from Xellous.
