New to Xbox 360 hacking scene. Important questions

Hello.

I recently got an Xbox 360 Slim, though I haven't set it up yet.

Was advertised as: RGH3 DA + LT 3.0 320GB.

I don't know all of those terms as I'm very new. So I have a few questions which are very important to me before even setting it up.

Can I run unsigned code on it and not just burned discs? I'm not interested in burned discs anyway, but ofcourse I'm interested in unsigned code.

Can I sign into Xbox Live without being banned? I have a purchased digital game on my older Xbox (now red ring) which I still want to play for times on the leaderboards and re download from the store if possible.

And ofcourse what are those terms?
RGH reset glitch I know, but I couldn't find any info about the term DA and LT.

If its rgh3 you can run homebrew(unsigned code). Ive never heard the term "DA". Is there any chance it was DN? That could possibly mean dual nand, but im just guessing. I believe the LT is a modded disc drive also. Xbox live is a no on rgh3 unless it is in fact a dual nand. I dont have any experience with dual nand, but I have heard you can boot into either the glitched nand or a stock nand with it.

What DA can mean, I don't know, but I remember the description and title all was in Italian when I bought the Xbox 360. Can an Italian person confirm and know what DA is?

"DA" from Italian to English translates to "from" but in capital letters I don't know what it could mean, could you send a screenshot of the title or copy it to me, I'll try to understand from the context

In this case "DA" indicates the "size", sometimes we Italians also use it in this context. For example "Package of 3...", "The group is composed of 5 people...".
In this case it refers to the fact that the XBOX is 320gb, if you translate it literally from Italian it would be a sentence like "A Xbox 360 of 320GB".

Hello. I finally got around setting it up. So it appears it has Aurora on it, explored it a bit. So now I decided to put a small homebrew on it in xex format it seems. I put proto.xex on USB, copied it over to the Xbox HDD with Aurora, but I can't open it.

Can you tell me how to open xex files?

Aurora has its own file manager, you'll see it after clicking the back button on the controller iirc. Then go to your usb directory and simply launch the .xex file

That's the problem, it doesn't let me open xex files, it's just greyed out. Any other method?

Proto.exe is just a plugin. You can't open it directly iirc.

It shouldn't grey anyone. You can use XexMenu, just copy it to your usb and launch it from the Xbox' dash in the games tab

Was going to ask where he found that and what does it do, and yea since it comes stand-alone it's probably a plugin for something.

Yes, I installed xex Menu now and can launch it. But once I try to open proto.xex I get an error message :

The game couldn't start. Try downloading the game again.

Which I find odd because I only got proto.xex and no other files. What to do?? Thanks.

Have you read my last reply and Bigonya's? We said it's probably a plugin for some game or hb software tool, which means it can't launched or used by itself.

Yes, it's a plugin it seems like.
I got Dash Launch and chose the plugin there. Now I don't know if it works, should proto.xex say something when plugin is successfully loaded?
