Hi all. I had a Lite-On iHAS 122-04 B that I used for a long time to burn my Xbox 360 games. But it is dead now and I decide to get a new Lite-On burner. After a research here, I got an iHAS-124 C that looks compatible with BurnerMAX. Is impossible to find now Verbatim DVD Dual Layer here now. I have used them for a long time burning Xbox 360 games, so as it is impossible to find, I decide to get RITEK-S04-66.

Checked my ISO with ABGX360 1.07. It fixed the ISO as usual and that is fine. After insert the DVD on burner and open ImgBurn it shows:
Free Sectors: 4,173,824
Free Space: 8,547,991,552 bytes.

Opened BurnerMAX 0.15:

BurnerMAX Payload Tool - Version: 0.15
Found 1 CD/DVD drives D:
DVD DL +R detected
BurnerMAX not enabled, YET !

Pressed BurnerMAX button:

Opened ImgBurn again and got:
Free Sectors: 4,267,040
Free Space: 8,738,897,920 bytes

So it is perfect. I always burned my games with "verified" option. So after burn the game "Diablo.III.Reaper.of.Souls.Ultimate.Evil.Edition.XBOX360-COMPLEX" it was verify and I got this error:

First attempt was using 8X to burn and second was 4X. Both with the same error.

The burner is: ATAPI iHAS124 C LL05 (D:) (SATA)

Any idea how make this work? Thanks!

I suppose you could try and flash the hacked FW to the recorder.
It's been well over a decade since I last burned a disc for 360 tho.

You might just be unlucky and have a incompatible drive...
I just got this new drive after do a research and this is compatible. That is why I dunno what is happening. When I got my first Lite-On never used BurnerMAX and burned a lot of DVDs. Maybe it was hacked, but always worked before die.

I think it’s generally the “B” version iHAS’s that are most compatible / without issue, no? Like your original one.

I bet the RITEK media is the problem. Verbatim is the only brand I ever had success with burning x360 games. You can still find, and order them online.

The slower the burn speed the better. 4x should be a nice middle ground i think, though you could do 2.4x as well. Oh and just uncheck the verify setting in ImgBurn as it could rewrite data once it's already done and could corrupt the disc.
Have you verified the burned disc in abgx360? What about on the 360, does it boot, give an error message after launch, or nothing?

Before my first lite on die, I always burned more than 200 medias verifying and never get error. That is the point.
