If you knew better the OC doesn't stress the switch at all. Research the Nvidia Shield. You have to turn wifi on? So in order to use this without worrying about typical Nintendo ban nonsense or whatever, you need to have 99dns in order to use this carefree?
Also needing to overclock is a deal breaker for me as well.
I'm happy people are getting it to work n stuff, but I wish it was easier to use without worry.

From what ive heard, the switch uses a nvidia gpu chip at 1ghzI keep seeing mixed responses from people
I don't know who to believe when it comes to whether or not OC is safe for the switch...
Can't you read? It's in the title. You can only stream your favorites. Can we stream ALL pc games?
Even if they arent our favorite?

The nvidia shield uses the very same chip at 2ghz
In short, switch gpu is underclocked by default
Maybe im wrong, but thats what ive heard

I'm not sure this really says much.
First, this program uses CPU overclocking, not GPU. Overclocking wouldn't be needed if homebrew had GPU-accelerated video decoding.
Guy who ported Lakka, one of the first to mess extensively with CPU OCing, said that his battery bulges now.
The chip itself is fine running faster, but you have to think about both heat in the tiny Switch case and drawing from its battery, especially if you are pushing the GPU at the same time. (Don't think this program does.) Those are the kind of reasons Nintendo clocked the chip so low.
Ok, this is kind of crazy. PS4 remote play streaming to PC, PC streaming to Switch. You can even make the controls work by following this tutorial. It essentially takes an XInput controller and translates it to a Dualshock 4 input. Would it be possible to have the option for the in-home switching app to be recognized as either Xbox360 or DS4 controller natively? Well anyway, I guess there are other things that have a higher priority right now (like audio streaming), and latency-wise a switch-native remote play homebrew app would of course be miles better, but that's not the point.
That this works at all is cool, keep up the great work!
You are 100% wrong except for saying the switch gpu is underclocked. You are getting confused between gpu & cpu clock speeds. Can we stream ALL pc games?

His battery bulges because like you said, he was one of the first to mess with over clocking. At the time over clocking had not been tested to find the sweet spot. He was most likely over clocking the cpu & gpu. Over clocking only the cpu is not much of a big deal, over clocking the gpu is when the chipset becomes a heater, over clocking both is just straight up bad.I'm not sure this really says much.

Download and install ScpToolkit. Once completed, try installing again. When I try to install the scp drivers I get the error: Driver Installation Failed with DIFxAPI error 0x000003EE
How do I fix this?
It was alright. Some really occasional stutters, but I didn't really mind that. As for gameplay performance, while latency was definitely noticable, it's actually far less than I expected and really playable. How did it run? Was gameplay performance acceptable? I’m mostly interested in doing the same thing since I don’t do much PC gaming.

If you knew better you'd know OCs always stress components and influence product life since you're run ing the device at unintended speeds. I'm not about to trash my switch for a petty luxury. If you knew better the OC doesn't stress the switch at all. Research the Nvidia Shield.
If you knew better you would know that technically this is not over clocking. It would be over clocking if the chipset was clocked to run at higher clock speeds that the shield tv. Technically this "overclock" is still an under clock. If you knew better you'd know OCs always stress components and influence product life since you're run ing the device at unintended speeds. ...Trash your switch? Um..even of you used your switch daily in OC (which you won't) by the time it had detrimental effects you'd be on to the next nintendo console anyways. Yes..it's common knowledge OC produces some wear and tear over time on devices.. But to what extent is the question? Minimal, considering your switch is only OC'd in bursts, not 24/7.If you knew better you'd know OCs always stress components and influence product life since you're run ing the device at unintended speeds.
