MB means Mega Byte,
Gbit means Giga bit
1 Byte is 8 bits, so 4Gb = 512MB
By convention, Bytes are written upper case, and bits are written lower case.

And inside the quote it says 1G = 1 Giga bit = 1024 bit, that's so wrong. 1G means 1 Giga nothing.
It should have been 1 Gb = 1 Giga bit = 1024 Mb = 1024 Mega bit = 1048576 Kb = 1048576 Kilo bit = 1073741824 bit

The memory unit everyone's familiar with is Bytes, like PC or memory cards.

So it comes with 4Gb of memory which is 512MB, which doesn't hold a lot of stuff (well at least not enough for me)

8.

I heard that G6FLASH3 has capacity up to 1G / 2G / 4G, what's 1G / 2G / 4G?

1G = 1 Giga bit = 1024 bit = 4 X 256M = Store up to 32 games of 32M.

2G= 2 Giga bit = 2048 bit= 8 X 256M = Store up to 64 games of 32M.

4G= 4 Giga bit = 4096 bit = 16 x 256M = Store up to 128 games of 32M

thats on the G6 site so..........

i know what GB ans Gb but on the site it showed 2 different things so i didnt know

or am i just making my self more confused

so its not really high capacity either

I don't see why people don't just simply say that:

MB is Megabyte (notice how both are caps)
Mb is Megabit (the b is lowercase)

So, that applies to GB, Gb as well.

Just some FYI for the uninformed (2% of the forums).
