Yep, GCN controller acts as Gamepad, no touch screen funtions of course.

vWii is basically a real Wii smushed into the Wii U. When you launch into vWii mode it shuts off everything from the Wii U to go into Wii mode. Since all the hack stuff right now is removed when the system shuts off, it won't stay when you launch vWii.

Well, the Wii VC on the eShop allows Classic Controller simulation, and that's also vWii.

Oh that's right Xenoblade lets you use the gamepad. It's just a matter of people figuring out how Nintendo does that then. No one has yet. The vWii only does this for games that even had classic controller support in the first place, which was few.
