Homebrew How to setup the r4 in order to play both gba and nds?

I have this r4 sdhc, with moonshell menu installed if it helps. Now i'd like to play both nds and gba games on my nintendo ds lite. I tried just copy pasting gba games in games folder but didnt work. Discovered that its a lil bit more complicated than that, but i couldn't find a way to do it. Can u help me?
