Hacking How exactly do you set up the acekard?

I put akaio in the root of my microsd.


but when i put it in my ds and start it it a black screen with the bottom that says microsd and slot 2 and then it i press start or anything it freezes...

what did i do wrong?

i hope i didnt get a fake...

There are no fake Acekards, so that shouldn't be a concern.

Press up or down on the d-pad to hilight different items in the menu. Press the "A" button when "microSD Card" is hilighted (or click "microSD Card" with the stylus" and you should see the files and folders that are on your microSD card. Navigate to a game and press "A" (or click the icon with the stylus) to run it.

Did you update it from an earlier version of AKAIO? Are you using the latest version (public beta 2)?

It sounds like you're missing whatever skin it's looking for. You can look at the globalsettings.ini file to see what skin it's looking for, then look in the "ui" folder to make sure that skin is there. If not, edit the globalsettings.ini file and define a skin that's there.
