That must've been a bad urban legend, lol.Everyone who talked about this told that installing an out of region game causes a brick. Did that happen in older firmware versions?
It's also safe to install to NAND? (Sorry for all those questions. A Wii U is not that cheap and I don't have the money to get a new one if something happens)That must've been a bad urban legend, lol.
Just like @uribemaster said: No it doesn't brick your console, it just doesn't start, not without regionhax.

I downloaded it on a site but I'm not sure if it's allowed to name it. It was a USB Ready Game. It has all the files and the ticket should be modified. (I didn't download it with NUSgrabber or USB Helper or anything because I don't have access to a PC right now)Yes it is.
How did you download it?
I prefer using uTikDownloadHelper. Shows you the region, and downloads it with a disk title.tik (if there's one).
IMHO if you can get the game directly from nintys server, don't get the game from "that iso site".I downloaded it on a site but I'm not sure if it's allowed to name it. It was a USB Ready Game. You mean Portal*** or what do you mean?IMHO if you can get the game directly from nintys server, don't get the game from "that iso site".
I downloaded it on a forum where people post the USB Ready games. That's why I'm so suspicious about this.Any of them.
I'd be too.... that's why I suggest using either NUSGrabber, uTikDownloadHelper, JNUSTool, etc ...etc...I downloaded it on a forum where people post the USB Ready games. That's why I'm so suspicious about this.
I'm just gonna try it. If it's safe to install out of region games it should be fine... I hope.I'd be too.... that's why I suggest using either NUSGrabber, uTikDownloadHelper, JNUSTool, etc ...etc...
It doesn't hurt, even if it have a missing file in it, the worst could happen is wupinstaller doesn't install it, or the game doesn't start. But really, use the above mentioned programs next time, they exist for a reasonI'm just gonna try it. If it's safe to install out of region games it should be fine... I hope.

Alright it started to install but it stopped and I got an error code (bad SD Card) I formated it 2 days ago. Is that a common error or do I really have to format it again? It doesn't hurt, even if it have a missing file in it, the worst could happen is wupinstaller doesn't install it, or the game doesn't start. Did you format it to FAT32 with 32k cluster size?Alright it started to install but it stopped and I got an error code (bad SD Card) I formated it 2 days ago. Is that a common error or do I really have to format it again?
I did. And no it can write on it. HB App Store wouldn't install Homebrews if it couldn't write on the SD card. I'm gonna try it again. I think it's because I missed a step.Did you format it to FAT32 with 32k cluster size?
Is the read-only slide slided off?
I didn't find mass effect 3 EUR with those tools. Where it is ? Only USA ?I'd be too.... that's why I suggest using either NUSGrabber, uTikDownloadHelper, JNUSTool, etc ...etc...
Mass Effect 3 is a disk-only game, therefore it isn't on nintys server/eshop.I didn't find mass effect 3 EUR with those tools. Where it is ? Only USA ?
