Hacking How can I backup my save files and restore them after an SD card format?

I'm gonna format my SD card, thus I will have to delete all my games. However, I want to make a backup of the saves so I can restore them after the SD card format. How can I do that with Checkpoint?

In the other thread it was established that an unknown portion of the content is probably corrupted to some extent.

How can I do that with Checkpoint?

If you're asking if there's some way to back up everything all at once, then there isn't. You have to do all the games one by one.

If you're worried about forgetting something, then you can make a backup of the card on your PC. You can always use ninfs to extract save data from a backup like that. In fact, as long as you don't do a complete System Format (which changes the encryption), most games will work fine if you just copy the old save data file back to the appropriate folder.

Indeed, but if I make new backups, I believe they shouldn't be corrupted.

Well, what I have done is that I've made a backup of every game save file and their extdata for copying the "Checkpoint" folder found in /3ds/Checkpoint back to its place when the format is done, and I should be able to restore the saves and extdata through checkpoint, right @Kwyjor ?
