I think a vwf might work a little
the lowercase i looks a bit awkward with that long bar on the bottom, and the lowercase l seems to have an extra space after it.

@ zipbit and mergulho there is already a patch released on the first post in this thread it will be updated as and
when i think there is enough new material translated to make it worthwhile but it will get done just slowly as i have a very busy work and home life outside of romhacking

@psychoblaster yes i know about the font but i have yet to find the font files so far it looks as if its coded straight into the arm9.bin

you sure about that cos i just did a goto in windhex and all i got was a bunch of zero's (00)(00)

use a tile editor and view them on 4bpp

but I don't see any japanese chars...
and I can't find a width table near it. Maybe it has a fixed width? not sure, i'll look into arm9.bin a little more.
and first time seeing a arm9ovltable.bin...
I'll look into that too just in case

right well editing the image changes it so it it part of the font at least now we just need the width table

cause you see im planning to go : no life ... and if i hear the patch thats on the first page is like 10 % or something im not gonna download it yet
