Yes. It should say something along the lines of "Installation complete! Done" and go back into the Homebrew Channel. This was with the MIOS installer; the cIOS installer should have a similar (if not the same) response.

Did you do an installation through wifi or with an sd card? If you did it with an sd card how long did it take to install?

I used Waninkoko's cIOS installer, so your mileage may vary. For both Waninkoko's cIOS installer and WiiGator's cMIOS installer (the MIOS patcher), it was about 30 seconds.

This is a link to a pic of what shows up when trying to install the cIOS installer, it never does anything after this part, it doesn't even reboot back to the homebrew channel or say installation successful.

This pic is what shows up when trying to install the MIOS Patcher, nothing happens after this either

I posted these links to see if anybody sees an error or something

BOTH OF THE INSTALLATION PICS SHOW HOW I TRIED TO DO AN SD INSTALLATION NOT A NETWORK INSTALLATION, I REPEAT NOT A NETWORK INSTALLATION(INSTALLATION USING THE INTERNET)

In AnyTitle Deleter, is there a version of cIOS? Try uninstalling it, then try the cIOS installer again. The cIOS installer might be encountering issues overwriting the existing version.

I used the wifi installation. Your a lot less likely to run into problems imo

And Chaos32, DONT use anytitledeleter. That is asking for trouble, deleting the CIOS without knowing exactly what you are doing

AnyTitle Deleter is another program that allows you to uninstall almost anything. Although it has anti-brick precautions, it can mess up and/or brick the Wii if misused. It can even revoke your ability to re-download Wii Shop Channel titles. If this sounds scary, try the Wi-Fi installation (like what MicShadow said).

As far as I know, uninstalling the cIOS is safe unless the System Menu uses it and/or you don't have an IOS with the Trucha signing bug. Is there something I'm missing?

I downloaded the latest wii system menu, my wii disk loader that was on my wii still works but my GC disk loader that was on an SD card stopped working, is there any way to load the gamecube disk loader onto the wii internal memory itself the way that the wii disk loader is?

MAKE SURE YOU HAVE AN IOS WITH FAKESIGNING (I think the cIOS/MIOS installers prefer IOS36 v1042) BEFORE PROCEEDING WITH THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

I AM ALSO ASSUMING THE SYSTEM MENU WAS NOT PATCHED TO USE cIOS.
If it was, (temporarily) revert to an untouched System Menu (3.1 and 3.2 are considered the safest).

cIOS is installed as IOS249. Try removing that (if it's there), then re-attempt an installation of IOS249. If it doesn't work, try the other method (Wi-Fi, SD, or WAD).

If it's successful, try using the 0.2 MIOS installer. If it doesn't work, do the same thing as before: remove and reinstall the MIOS.

Remember, asking for cIOS-related WADs is forbidden in forum threads.

Nice job on getting it to work.

Maybe it was network issues? Space issues? *shrug* Well, whatever; it works, that's all that matters for now.

I assume you got the custom MIOS working as well, right?

This may be a necro bump, but I'm trying to boot up game cube back ups using this method... I goto install any MIOS and the app checks my SD card and returns a bad hash... this is a transfer from a smaller SD card (went from 1 GB to 8GB afew years ago) is there anyway I can fix this "bad hash" error that closes MIOS patcher? Or is there a better way to load the gamecube games
