i know im supposed to use edit but this is my first topic i did and now its bin a while i got a new wii but i want to fix my still broken one so i found out that there is a new firmware 4.3u will that help me unbrick it ps please dont lock this post

You have bootmii@boot2.
From bootmii you can run any app off SD.
This allows You to fix broken system menu.

Delete the contents of the bootmii.ini and insert this:
QUOTEVIDEO=PROGRESSIVE
AUTOBOOT=HBC
BOOTDELAY=5

Save the file, reinsert the sd card and start the wii.

So WHAT now? boot2 or IOS? And you don't have priiloader installed? Try to hold down the reset button when you turn on the wii

tried it so theres no hope for me at all even if i put the firmware 4.3u on a dvd-r and put a gc controller in the 4 port and press all dpad buttons so the samemii frii thing comes up and put in the disc

Do you have a modchip? If not, you will need a retail game disc with 4.3 on it.
