I don't know what exactly is going on, but as far as I have read. this uses some way to download the games from nintendo servers (a way which someone used to get the games before this program, privately), and now that this program is being public (which means the way of how that other person or people did all these downloadds is public too) and that is the problem., because now that nintendo knows how it's done, it can 'solve' the problem. Have I understood correctly? If I am wrong or something, could someone please explain what and why is all this drama about?

Okay. Probably I explained myself wrong, but that was the idea I had. Except from the google drive part, which I was obviously wrong. I understand, thank you! And what a shame, to be honest.

I download a game > It freezes > relaunch HBG > It never installed and it doesnt show in HBG ..

Blawar and the boys are really pullin' out all the stops to make piracy a common household practice. >.<

Don't get me wrong, I love the functionality of Tinfoil, and it's various hosting method protocols. Very convenient stuff, and probably the most diverse NSP management brew in the scene currently... but THIS... this is just asking for Nintendo to resolve on crushing us and the entire scene with everything they got.. There is no obscurity or subtlety in this. It's practically commercialized at this point. *siigh*

And i have copied the SWITCH/TINFOIL contests to my SD card, as always.
I will launch TINFOIL from Homebrew launcher, but the sound glitches, if i install something the Switch crashes.
I have switched back to 4.0 HBG (copied SWITCH/TINFOIL to SD nothing else), now works fine everything.

Most of the games under "new games" are named as "[title ID][v0].nsp". Because of this I can't search for games by name.

delete all files in /switch/tinfoil/db/

also make sure you have accept TOS in options enabled.

When downloading a game and the installation fails after some minutes, is there still downloaded content on the sd card or is everything deleted when the installation fails? @blawar

I did that last night so I'm supposed to have Tinfoil 4.10b. yet, there is something I may have forgotten because I can't see the list of new games or updates. Already checked the time/hour, reinstalled, what I´m doing wrong? I'M on Atmosphere 0.9.4 and using Fusée Primaire. The console is on 8.1.0

Use latest Tinfoil, go to browse content, pick the NSZ and install it. Simple as that I guess.

No.

Use your favorite installer that has NSZ support, such as blawar's Tinfoil.

Most installers either support NSZ or have been forked to support NSZ.

Anyone who goes online w/ a modded switch risks the ban hammer. This is extremely stupid and at highest level of ban risk (i.e. installing pirated games).

Please do not spread misinformation. Of course you can go online with a hacked switch. You do it in emunand, using incognito and/or the SX stealth mode or one of the DNS settings that don't allow connection to Nintendo servers, and of course don't try to go into eshop or play games online (which you can't anyway if you're using incognito and/or SX stealth mode/dns).
How else would you use hbgshop on the switch?
