yeah I have tryed that. No SD card

And ? Did it flash the disc slot for 1 sec ?

When you turn on the Wii without the SD card inserted, you should see the disc slot light flicker a little (like a bad tubelight). If it does that, it means Bootmii is installed.

yes I have Bootmii installed and yes the blue light flash when hitting the start button


but we still don't have a signal to the wii. We did twice but just a black screen.

then that means you have bootmii installed, but not the bootmii folder on your sd card.

go back to hackmii installer and prepare your sd card.

if the light is flashing on the drive 3 times put your SD card in a working Wii and put the /bootmii folder on it

HEY I am new to some of this stuff so cut me some slack I have never messed with a brick wii. Never had on brick before.

I have been reading up on this stuff here...have not found anything yet.

any chance it had starpatch or starfall so that you wont have to tear apart a gamecube pad to get to recovery (if thats even possible on 4.2 seems updating prob ruins that and i doubt you had a 4.2 version of starpatch but hell if i were you id at least try to summon up that recovery mode) Then try to autoboot smashbros and load stacksmash or some kind of dol/elf loader so you could then re-install ios70 at the very least and Know for certain if any IOS are bad using IOSsanity check....
