i tried to install wiiware games on the wii and its not turning on

how it started was that I tried to install this wiiware app I saw which said "Wii menu (dev)" and i downloaded it as a wad

I went back to the main menu to find out that it took me to priiloader and gave me this message "Couldn't load Main menu"

so i went back to homebrew and opened back up the wad manager I was using and downloaded a system menu which was 4.2U.

Once i headed back to the system menu, it just didn't show any display and im not sure what to do.

Problems:
System menu can't be used
Priiloader can't be used
No display

Sounds like you bricked it by installing a dev menu (wtf were you thinking) and then reinstalling a different menu.

Hope you have a NAND backup.

So basically an IOS brick then. Yeah hardware nand programming or Bootmii as boot2 is the only solution.

sd_boot is built with data leaked from the previously-hacked Nintendo servers - Even assuming they manage to clean-room reverse engineer it (fat chance), it's still a risky legal move.
