tried it on my regular old 3ds, my copy doesn't work. Is the exploit supposed to work on a regular 3ds XL?

3DS firmware - XL 9.2E

Working y/n - Not Working
Purchased when? - sometime in 2014

Edit: savefile "gateway" shows up and loads, game freezes on pressing A. No gateway menu.

I've only tried it on O3DS/XL with the 4.x firmware versions, but it doesn't work for me on either. Only the N3DS. I've got a smash bro's cart that could bring the firmware up to 8.1, but I don't have the time to fart with it today. I suspect it's a N3DS only exploit at this point.

Ok just to add to the list. I've got an AUS N3DS XL on firmware 9.0 and I used my original 3DS XL on 4.5 to do the save restore. Here's my results.

Could the OP change my entry in the list please..? I found out that my white screen problem was down to the file(s?) on my memory cards being fragmented. Running Defraggler on the relevant folders on my PC hard drive and copying them over again solved the problem. Works every time now. Here's the info again:

After some tinkering around and asking around, it does seem pretty certain that this method is exclusive to the New 3DS. I tried both the GW save and the sonic2756 GW save. The GW save was corrupt and the sonic GW save worked all the way up until I pressed A to get to the Gateway menu. At that point the gameplay froze and the music kept going, forcing me to hold the power button until a shutdown occurred.

The gateway menu launches when pressing A EVERY SINGLE TIME I TRY. However, I cant get emunand/GW mode to work on my console. It breaks the 3ds but I don't get the rom selection menu. and Ideas?
Also I forgot to mention my card has the e manual option. So I have no Idea what to do, should I dump my rom and upload it to the internet or what?
