It's my friend's daughter's birthday this weekend, she's turning 6. She loved her DS Lite so I'm thinking about getting her a game of some kind. She's really into Pokemon but her mother's already picked up White 2 for her, so that's already covered. Which leads to my problem.

She's also into Hello Kitty, Barbie, and Disney Princess stuff. Something I know less than sod all about. I went to check in Game today and I've found about half a dozen Hello Kitty games alone. So can anyone lend a machete to my intellectual thicket and recommend one? Anything along the Hello Kitty, Barbie, Disney, or anything involving cute animals as she has Nintendogs and Bunnies. Any ideas?

Because unless someone has a decent one cheap and can ship it to me by Saturday, she'd get nothing for her birthday party as I get paid this afternoon.

-scratches my head-

Uh. Pokemon? I know she's 6 and she's a bit young. But my nephew just got Diamond I believe and he's having a blast.

.... Granted he is a he and not a she.

Nintendogs might work? And yeah, I'll have to recommend Super Princess Peach as well, it's awesome. Kirby Super Star Ultra could work too, not sure about that one though.

maybe give her roller skates or a bike, a skipping rope or a hulla hoop thingy? something to go outside?

but if you really want to make it a game, go for super princess peach or kirby (any but canvas course). and dont get her a flashcard. flashcard children will never appreciate any game.

    Exactly.

Thor from "Pirate Software" said its just better to pirate the game than buy from a keyshop if you care about the devs

devs don't get hit with the chargebacks, the keys are free to generate

    at least on steam
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
Except he said the DEVS get hits with the chargeback cost

since the key gets bought with a stolen credit card
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
there's nothing to charge back because the keys don't cost them money to generate in the first place
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
If the game has a crack sure
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most these crack sites have dead links anymore or the crack don't even work
  • linuxares @ linuxares:
@The Real Jdbye What don't you get? If someone use a stolen creditcard. Then sell said key on G2A. If I the dev sold the game key, I will get the charge back cost. That's how it works, it doesn't matter if I generate 300 keys if 300 of them are bought with stolen credit cards. I never said it was on Steam, but its the dev that gets hit. There is a ton of stories out there if you google it.
