i followed the guide step by step to part 4 (getting the otp)
i also downgraded succesfully to 2.1
i even recieved the in the guide mentioned blackscreen
i booted my device with the Card ejected, so far so good
working well 2.1 running like a charm
but if i reinsert my sd i am not able to enter hbl again
after some time the device freezes
what would be the solution?
would it be ok to update by original gamecard and redoo everything
ore might there be any other solution
i´ve got a backup from my sd from every step if it is usefull

HBL wont work if the payload doesnt match the FW. In the guide you use OTP helper to flash your backup back to get to the firmware where you can use browserhax , etc to enter homebrew again to continue. I just hope youre checking the otp helper thread to make sure youre using the right version

Aren't you supposed to visit a webpage to launch OTPHelper and NOT use HBL when in 2.1? Make sure to follow the guide very carefully.

Last thing I can suggest is double checking you have arm11.bin and arm9.bin in the correct place. Other than that, not sure. Sounded like you were trying to run HBL using browserhax or something, but if you're using the link, that's the right way to go.

If I understand correctly youre stranded on 2.1 and cant get the dukes site to run OTP helper properly to restore your backup right? If so id suggest checking the website again or seeing if anyone has a problem with the site. If its only you it could possibly be your internet connection. Leave a message on the otp helper thread and check again later to see if your problem can be resolved in a day or 2.
I was marooned on 2.1 when I was setting up armlh because otp helper failed to validate my files and I rushed into updating with a game cart which left me on a unhackable FW. I had to update my fw to 10.6 and downgrade to 9.2 using cubic ninja to continue

yep, you are right so far
weird by now is that i cant Launch gamecarts anymore

but i´m trying right now this

I was a complete noob before i seen this guide if you follow the guide step by step you shouldnt have a problem. It took me about 4-5 hours of carefully reading the guide and doing the appropriate functions on my 2ds the link suggested by sToOz was the one i used aswell.

So as of right now what part of the guide are you on, Your previous post said you were on 2.1 firmware is that still correct.

No problem will try and help i only done this process saturday just gone so its still pretty fresh in the memory.
You shouldnt be trying to use gamecarts at all on 2.1 so i would stay clear of that.

Try going back through the guide step by step starting from when you needed to downgrade to 2.1 you need to get the two otp files before you can continue.

i didnt even get so far
i reebooted after the dongrade process to 2.1
and now i cant Launch dukesrg
i didnt even get Close to the otp´s
i´m stuck after downgrading to 2.1 no step further neither back

found the solution
stupid me
arm9 and arm11 needed to be in the root
dont know why they where in 3ds Folder
now dumped both files but cant find otp0x108.bin

solution found alls fine now

Guys, I've got a problem. Everything went fine so far, untill I had to backup emuNAND.bin (1,88GB) while I only have 1,78GB space on my SD Card. (Using the original 4GB SD card inside the N3DSXL)

You could press select to unmount the card and then delete anything that you can off it.

There should be a disclaimer at the beginning of the guide saying 8GB or higher card recommended

The problem is that after installing emuNAND, the TOTAL available space is 1,78GB.. So theres basically nothing I can delete

And yeah.. should have been more patient and ordered a bigger SD card

Ah I see. That sucks. Maybe you'll have to start again when you get a bigger card.
