This is only something I've heard and several people have said that the DLC worked when they used Gateway. For me, I region-changed my EmuNAND to Japanese and the DLC worked just fine with no problems with the .cia version of the game.
Thanks, so I can confirm with the Gateway card the DLC works. There are some that "fail to load" but most work. Only problem is I "updated" the game using the update .CIA from a "website" which damaged the fan translation. Its all japanese again. I think I can fix this by uninstalling the .CIA and reinstalling it as the save data sits on the SD card and not on the game itself.
That's very strange. English Patching the game is literally just replacing the original Japanese scripts with the custom English translated scripts. The update shouldn't be able to damage or revert the English Patched game back to Japanese.
So this project is still alive or it's down by the localization? Looks like alive.
I'm just passing by to say thank you for doing such a fine work on this. I would really like to help, but, even my english is poor. But I'll do my best to enjoy the game and report bug or something that I find.

Yea I thought it was weird to but I confirmed this. Right after the update the saved game screens were all Japanese including the save titles, then I launched chapter 14 and the dialogue was all Japanese. To fix I had to completely uninstall the update file and the rom completely then I just reinstalled the patched rom again. My saves remained but I won't sacrifice the translation to play online so I won't install the update again. Your team maybe should test for yourselves =)
Late status update (12-15-2015):
- All the paralogues have been translated.
- Got a few new translators.
- Birthright (Hoshido) path is completely finshed.
- Conquest (Nohr) path is almost done. Just one more chapter.
- DLC stuff, still trying to figure out how to get it to work.
- Invisible Kingdom/Revelations is being translated.
- Around 5-6 chapters left to translate.

You can use HANS for the first two paths, but that's it. Problem is that you can't use DLC or update patches, so the third path and DLC can't be patched and played without CFW.
Okay. Just asking for a friend 'cause he just got Conquest yesterday and he has to use homebrew.

February 19, 2016 is the release date for the USA-Version.
I think you're better by importing the japanese release and using the english patch.
Yeah, not to mention the inevitable censoring that NoA is going to go ham with.

I am currently doing this for my friend now but I'm having problems getting the first step done. I downloaded the fates files through serene and I can't seem to get this done properly.
EDIT: So I opened up RomFS Builder.exe, ran the program > opened gen_romfs to get the file > put the file in the hans folder in SD > open the game and put the region to US and loaded up the game but it doesn't work.
EDIT AGAIN: I can't seem to load it up; it freezes up when loading. What am I doing wrong?
