Hacking ez-flash iv help

so i got this thing and wa swonderign if people can help me set ti up to play gba games perfectly

cause some i tried some games like fire emblem and it would ether not save the game or save it and next time i played its gone

and how do i reset teh nor thing cause i was writng a game to it and the ds turned off by mistake now everytime i use it it has all these 0000 and numbers next to the directory and stuff

and how do i use cheats codes on it

Certain GBA games that have flash saver types need to be patched with GBATA instead of the EZ Flash IV client. Chu Chu Rocket is currently one such game. Download GBATA and use it to patch.

When the EZ Flash IV program renames 32MB carts to the internal name when moved to NOR memory (this happens automatically for 32 megabyte games), it doesn't create a placeholder save file. You will need to rename "Your_Game.sav" in "X:\Saver" to "Game.sav" for the NOR memory game to be able to function correctly. This is an example without using a real game name.

I was able to get Mother 3 to work properly without doing this.

For cheats, use the EZ IV client and point it to the cheat file. Download cheats here

To erase the NOR flash: "If you want to format your NOR memory and remove all files, in the GBA loader, enter the NOR memory and press Start, then A."
