Hardware Racing Gears Advance not working on EZ Flash Omega DE - Need Help!

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble getting the game Racing Gears Advance to work on my EZ Flash Omega DE. When I try to start the game, all I get is a black screen and some weird glitchy noise. Has anyone else encountered this issue and managed to get the game running? If so, could you please share how you fixed it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The game works properly. Check if the ROM isn't corrupted, a bad dump, or format your SD and copy the ROM again to it.

Hi, I've already tried 2 different roms with different regions, US and the other one Europe. I'll try to look for it from other sources when I'll have time tonight. As for the formatting the SD card goes, I’ve already tried that and unfortunately got the same result, which is quite strange as the other games worked without issue so far. Thanks for the reply, though. I will try to get to different roms and see if one of them works. If I may ask, would you be so kind to share with me your rom of the game for me to see if it works?

Are you using add-ons (patches) from the ez-flash menu? If so, try without.

Make sure that you have the latest firmware and kernel version.

Thanks all for replies. I've completely reinstalled the EZ Flash with the latest firmware and it works now.

hey which kernel did you download? did you download any kernels from here or just used the kernel from the EZ flash website?

Installation:
Create a folder called SYSTEM.
Move the following folders into there.
RTS, SAVER, IMGS, CHEAT, PATCH
Also copy the PLUG folder in the zip file to the SYSTEM folder.
Install the kernel as usual.

This package comes with the following plugins:
The ModPlayer plugin (.mod)
The JPEG plugin (.jpg .jpeg)
The BMP plugin (.bmp)
SMSAdvance (.sms .gg .sg)
ZXAdvance (.z80 .sna)
PCEAdvance (.pce)
SwanAdvance (.ws .wsc)
MSXAdvance (.rom)
Wasabi (.sv)
NGPAdvance (.ngp .ngc .ngpc)

Note: MSXAdvance comes with the C-BIOS.


it has something to do with this kernel but idk I might do this part again and hold R during startup. but idk why they dont make videos for this.
