I've been doing a playthrough of Emerald on the EZ Flash Omega Drive and got to the second gym, but when I go to save, the message "The backup memory is damaged, or the internal battery has run dry. You can still play, but not save." Shown below (not my picture but same thing). Saving works on other games such as Ruby, Fire Red, Densetsu no Stafy, etc. When I tested the rom on VBA, it works and saves fine, then I move it back to the SD card, and the game save works for a while (around 15-20 saves) then the same issue starts again.
When the message appears, it takes me back to the start screen, and I tested making a new save file and going to save, and it lets me save then... So I'm not really sure what's the issue.
