the % HAS BEEN UPDATED to the 1°st post! (check!)

The game "BASIC" is done 100% all in english, you can enjoy all game menu, all operation,
shops and "talk", with no problems

right now we are working on zuburo village (the guardians village)
and we have to translate the game quest and message from the area.

this game is crazy cool, it's like monster hunter meet phantasy star, so great game o.O
i think with a 85% we never see a Usa localization or announcement..

by the end of the week a first patch can be released

Just signed up to say that I'm VERY excited for this patch.

I played for about 20 minutes yesterday, stopping at every screen and trying to translate it as I went. Needless to say I failed miserably and gave up pretty quick.

@DOOMBRINGER

wow, you're a beast, i just got the game and now im stucked at quest#15 and #16 because they want something specific and i dont understand a thing.
can't believe you translated already so much in such a short timeframe. respect.

can't wait, and thank you very much for your hard work

Cool. I'll see if they will bring this over or not, but i doubt they will. maybe someone will like Atlus or NISA. For once, its not nintendo

NEW NEWS

-We have added a lot of stuff to the patch, new improvement (about translations) and new section.
-We have already tested with usb loader and gecko os (works great)
-All what you see in % is done (1°st post)

I need to know if i can post the patch here on megaupload, it's legal for the forum?
i mean the patch consist in 4 file from the iso, i dont know if i can make a ppf patch for wii iso? is possible?

i need to know that thx.

about the earth seeker creator,
Kadokawa Shoten seems dont have any of western publisher support in years..
from 2000 to 2011 o.O the games they created were never published in Usa or Europe
(psp, nds, wii, ps2..)

seems crazy but it's true..

so i think that nintendo will never bring this game to us, wii life is near end, and soon we will play (xeno, tls and pandora)
i dont think to see this game published by some one... (maybe atlus ? XD will be the first time!)

You can't provide Game files at all, even modified.

You can either:
1- Create a PPF patch for the entire iso (though, people will have different iso depending what they did to create it : scrub or not, cISO, 1:1 dump, update partition removed, etc.
2- Create a PPF patch for each modified file, and explain how to extract/patch/replace all these files using WiiScrubber.
3- provides your own programs/tools/raw texts and explain how to extract/inject/replace all the files.

Best choice is N°2.

i got a bad feeling about this o.o my pc can't handle wiiscrubber, i hoped for something like the fatal frame 4 patch drag and drop to sd card and play with iso or even better play with the original wii game with the sd card patch translation.

if it comes down to wiiscrubber anything im left out because of glorious oldschool pc i only use to browse forums

right now i tested all, and works great
it's not so difficult to patch the game,

GUIDE

-I will made 4 files with ppf studio in .ppf (patch) format (so i think its legal right? with zero of the original file, but only my script, so zero copyrights problems)

-then you have to dump your game with wiiscrubber (or other way) and extract these 4 original file from the iso,

-then open ppf patcher and made 4 patch (one for every original file with the patched one)

-when you have finished to patching, you need wiiscrubber to put them back in the iso and save

-finish.

anyway can i upload the 4 ppf in uploader like megaupload, right?

ABOUT TRANSLATION

just a good news about the game, 70% of weapon has been translated (all guardian weapon too)
soon a new update in first post

Man this is unbelievable how do you do it so quickly? Anyway GREAT JOB MAN.
yay.gif
Your work is inspiring.
Thanks Doombringer and KiraEx77.

Does the whole percentage of the first post only mean the percentage of some menus ? Or are you also translating the story ? I never played the game, so the whole points dont tell me anything.

Easy, the game has barely text compared to lets say a rpg.

1-2 good and dedicated translators can easily finish this in 1-2 weeks

(if they have enough free time).

i guess i just have to wait for a friend to help me with patching wiiscrubbing thingi.

im as far as quest 24 now [still many more left] and the more you progress in the game the more fun it will be, just had an intense and crazy bossfight [would love to see that kind of game, phantasy star online+monster hunter mix with 4player online co-op and realtime battle]

You can use other methods :
1- Trucha Signer : extract replace and resign the partition (same as wiiscrubber, but you need to sign it manually as the end)
2- Disc ex : extract all the game data on your external FAT32 HDD, replace the files and use Sneek to play the game.
3- Riivolution : same as Fatal Frame 4 : extract the game files (with discex?), patched the files with PPF, place them on SD and launch the Original game with Riivolution and the files will be replaced in realtime (you need to create an xml file to replace the files the same way as FFrame 4)

QUOTE(doombringer @ Jun 28 2011, 06:21 PM) anyway can i upload the 4 ppf in uploader like megaupload, right?

You can also use GBAtemp file repository : filetrip.net, it store and process updates (when you post a new update, you set the version and it will propose the latest files to users downloading the old one).
There is no "game patch" section for the Wii like DS has, but you can post it it "other".

Edit:
I uploaded PPF O Matic already to filetrip.net, but it seems the file has been deleted (I really don't know why, it was useful!)
