Hello, this is something we created and would like to showcase it:

Nintendo Switch USB C Fix

Effectively restores the traces, allowing you to solder a new port on without the need to run jumper wires.

Looks good, I remember that when my USB C port broke Nintendo wanted me to pay over 130 bucks for a "Mainboard replacement"

We're just creating a tutorial for installation at the moment. Quite a swift and easy process compared to the traditional route.

looks great, i remember I did trace repair with the copper pad and UV light. pain in the ass haha

Open Hardware, just like Open Software...

But NVM, just checked some of your answers and it looks like it's not.

These type of products are required to be ordered in extreme large quantities, more than any typically person will ever need. We are going to create tutorials showing people how they can do the very same thing for other consoles like PS5, PS4, PS3, XBOX and so on which will allow people to make PCBs for all sorts of things.

So this would extend to torn traces on hdmi ports and whatever else (granted you make the model for it) really interesting!

Yes I agree, this type of products are not cheap at all.

Hope that at some point the Gerber files are made available so I can order some PCB's myself.

Thanks!

Cool, Thanks.

@RippedTraces
Thank you!
What will be the approximate MSRP for it?.. Any suggestions?
