Earth seeker 1° patch released on the first post!

this is the first patch for this game ENJOY

i hope to help who started the game days ago.

I started it this weekend, but I got disappointed by the lack of story, it's only missions and mission, collecting items.
I hoped for a RPG game, but it's an action game.

Maybe I'll continue it a little with the patch.

I'll try it after my work.
thanks in advance for all the effort you did on it

Great work doombringer! Does that mean everything is 100% translated? Or are you still missing certain things like the first post shows?

I personally couldnt get it to work. I followed the instructions and from what I can tell that all went perfectly, but for some reason the games loading up to just a black screen. No sound, nothing.

If it helps, I'm using WiiFlow and it booted fine in Japanese before I tried to patch.

did you used wiiscrubber ? have patched all the right files?

Yup, I used WiiScrubber (although I'm on a mac and had to emulate it but that shouldn't change a thing) and everything said it was fine and dandy. I tried it in USB Loader GX too and I also tried patching it a second time from fresh and it remains.

Used wiiscrubber to extract the iso
Used the ppf tool to patch the four files in the ffx folder
Replaced the files from the iso with the ones that I patched in the ffx folder using the replace function in wiiscrubber.

Hey Guys,
I didn't read the guide first,so
I Just patched the ISO 4 times with the files from the DL. (One after another)
Using the latest dxcIOS (v6) in 249 and cfg Loader with language set to japanes, i get to the Titelscreen and at least a i've a Press A Button.
But everything else stays japanese, execpt "NO DATA" Fileds at the beginning.

Now I Don't know if this was already english in the japanese Version, or it's partly patched. Just want to let You know what i experienced.

you have to patch the single files you've extracted before, not the whole iso... read the guide first

works fine for me with uniiloader

Tried 249 dxv6 and 224base 56 hermes with difrent language settings.

same question again. does the percentage reflect the whole game or only menus ? and another question, can we patch the already patched iso with later patches or does it have to be a fresh iso every patch ?

Except the menus, there are other parts translated. To be honest its not really useful as there is barely a pattern whats translated and what not ...

You have to patch the files IN the iso, which means you just replace them every time on your own.

@doom

Are you guys native english speakers and how long have you been studying japanese?

Ah right xD Forgot that

So I just need a backup of these 4 files when a new patch comes out

Had a little brainfart.
