See here - http://stargate.djba...PC_DOS_Emulator

My plan is to link up an image viewer to Lynx to view webpage and other images.

DSx86 version 0.43 released!

This version has the following fixes and improvements:
- Opcode ADC used ARM adc instead of add in address calculations. Fixed.
- BCD opcodes (DAA, DAS, etc) did not work correctly. Fixed.
- Oveflow flag handling fixed in ADC and SBB opcodes.
- Fixed flags handling in opcodes REPNE CMPSB and REPNE SCASB when CX == 0.
- Fixed [bp+di+disp8] address calculation in several protected mode opcodes.
- Opcodes LIDT and LGDT did not clear the highest byte of 32-bit base address.
- Opcodes LAR and LSL did not handle selector type 0 correctly.
- Fixed pushing EGA memory value to stack in Lords of Doom.
- Fixed mouse scaling in proportional font 80x25 text mode.

Insanely theoretical question, but would it be possible to port this to run on the Starlet (ARM9) processor inside a Wii? Never mind. I'll kind answer my question with "too much work when the Wii already has DOS box"

Just disregard this post. I'm full of crazy ideas lately.

DSx86 version 0.30 released! This is a major update, fulfilling the competition requirements of a significant update. All prior versions of DSx86 have only emulated a 80186 processor, but this is the first version that emulates a 80286 processor, including protected mode features!

When running Windows 3.00a in DSi mode, you will have over 8MB of RAM available, which should allow DSx86 to run many 16-bit Windows games and other programs.

You can download it at L or if it gets hosted/mirrored here, that is fine by me as well.

You can install windows 98 with 8MB of ram if you use the "nm" flag at the setup

Finally, an actual reason to get Hiya!

dude, stop necrobumping, pay attention to the dates

Application generals should be exempt from necro rule, as it's pretty unlikely that the software itself will die. I'd rather this thread be necro'd than have multiple threads about one application, asking/answering one question.

I am just NOW about to wake the 286 power in my DS lite....
Didn't find it very usefull. The problem is a small resolution of NDS screens. You can't fit it pixel to pixel. Yes, it was fun to launch some old quests, but can't say it was playable.
Anyway Pate made a great job to program this.

I am playing Space Quest 2 and it’s playable so far. :) Possibly the next chapter (vga, mouse) are difficult to play...

This weekend i thought about my personal requirements of a good universal portable retroconsole. I like to have a keyboard for emulating c64, dos and Amiga. But i need a good dpad. I think a GPD Win (or Win 2) would be great ..... but it’s not so cool like my nds or my psp.
UPDATE: Pate was working on a 3DS Version, this would be great. But i don’t own a 3DS and i am not shure if i will ever get one because of missing an emulation of Amiga on 3DS....

Anyway Pate made a great job to program this.
Absolutely yes! I have much respect for him/his work! Thumbs up!!!
