Hacking DSTWO filename display question

How does the DSTWO determine how the filename is displayed? All of my roms are displayed in lowercase except for DISGAEA.nds which is being displayed in uppercase. I have checked the filenames themselves on the microsd card and they are all in lowercase. Is there any way for me to fix it so that they are all displayed in lowercase?

    Download the roms with a pc, then transfer/ install to Switch with a USB to switch installer, like DBI, Awoo.
