Hacking DS Fire Card / Fire Link

I got this DS Fire Card / Ds Fire Link dunno what people call it.
Moonshell is preinstalled.. That is what the box says but when i put pictures or mp3 down there it doesnt find em. So im going to ask for your help

I tried installing Moonshell and that didnt work. Then i found some Moonshell files to put down there and that works but it says this:

Moonshell 1.5 is very old. If you're going to try to upgrade, use 1.71 which has DLDI support. I believe the Firelinker automatically patches with DLDI when applicable.

I found another tutorial with links to the newest Moonshell and tried setup with some cart (because my cart wasnt on the list) and now it works Yay! I can now watch videos and stuff^^

    I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
