i think not. the US one was called Jewel Quest - Expeditions and from the screenshots it seems like it's a different game.

The game is also in Dutch, so it's a M6 not a M5

No not Jewel Quest.
This one is a port of the PC game Cradle of Rome. Great game BTW

Have I been playing badly or have they taken away the extra bonuses, the farmer, miller etc, from the game? Other than that it looks like a straight port from the PC version.

No they haven't taken them away I think. I just started, loving the game, nice Bejeweled style puzzler. :3
