Hacking Does vWii mode upscale Homebrew like emulators?

Just wondering if vWii mode upscales according to Wii U's set resolution for Homebrew like emulators eg. SNES and Genisis?

I believe it upscales, but the internal rendering resolution remains unchanged.

Emulators running in vWill look identical to when I run the same emulator on my Wii using a component cable. So, no noticeable improvement.
