USB Loader SD mode not showing

I'm trying to run USB Loader on the vwii with an SD Card. my games load fine through the homebrew channel however if I run the usb loader channel or the wii u app,
It does not give me the option to switch to SD mode and I get the not initialized error soon after. any suggestions?

I had the same issue, it worked for me to download the latest version from the official github. The ability to run games from SD has been added recently.
UPD: also looks like its working only if you launch USBLoaderGX from vWii's homebrew channel, no forwarders
