The only things I watched on it was when I didn't have my Creative Zen yet. And it was porn

Then the Creative Zen was used to watch series and again porn and now I have my PSP which I use to watch Anime (not realistic series, they tend to work better on my laptop).
My DS and Creative Zen are both less useful to watch videos than the PSP.

What's exactly is Creative Zen?
The videos that I watch in my DS are series like Smallville, Supernatural and Chuck, and a lot of animes..

Screen is excellent and the battery life is really something, I love it. Best 70 euros I've ever spent, especially thanks to the fact that you can extend the capacity with cheap SD cards. Mine has 10GB that way, for a mere 80 euros in total.

2.5 in (64 mm) TFT LCD

I don't find anything in my quick Google search concerning languages, but I suppose French is supported

I watched Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann on my DS perfectly. And used to have short clips like the credits song from Plants vs Zombies.

I watch a ton of converted dpg and avi anime on my DS (FLCL, Witchblade, DBZ, Samurai Champloo, Naruto Shippuden, etc.). However, I convert the videos myself at online-convert.com. It's sad that gba-tmw's media forum was closed.

I actually just started using my ds for dpgs and I gotta say I'm pretty surprised by most of them. I've found a few online that have been of superb quality and I even found an anime movie by the name of Origin that had subtitles that were clear as day. Now I'm on to converting my own movies and hopefully the quality will be on par with what I've been getting. Anyway, it's handy for when you don't have a bigger screen and just want something to distract you for the time being.

Depending on your converter, the quality of the videos tend to vary. I watch DPGs on the DS with an earphone though as the DS's speakers really suck. I just use moonshell to view them.

Though the PSP is better suited for videos though.

if i had to watch something away from home i'd use my PSP, maybe even iphone. i believe ds is too inferior to bother with watching stuff, unless it was maybe 3 minute clips of whatever.

My PS3 is compatible with most movie files so I'd rather use that over a small screened DS.

Also you can use the program called Super@ to convert videos to the right format for Moonshell

Ya know, I just stick with the Moonshell converter. Ive never found an app that converted (and ive tried more than a few, Super included) as good as the official dpg converter, (sometimes i use the dpg encoder alt).
But, for me, either there's pixelation, or the seeking is fuggin' SLOW with other converters.

I can never seem to get the Moonshell converter to work for me. I tried everything, it just locks up and crashes. So I gave up on it.
I was able to make the videos look pretty good with Super@ by messing with the settings till they came out good enough, but the Supercard Two's video player is still better.

The ds resolution is pretty crappy and the DS is pretty underpowered. There are very few things I'd watch on a ds. PSP on the other hand is a better choice for watching video on a small screen.
