Rhythm Tengoku (Japan-only release of Rhythm Heaven game for GBA) and Zelda Minish Cap
you can also get the Jet Set Radio port (it may not be your cup of tea if you did not like the original Dreamcast game or do not like games with harsh controls)

Eye of the Beholder.

It's the reason I bought the GBA back in the day. It's a scaled down D&D 3E rule set, with first person dungeon crawling which switches to isometric turn based combat similar to the original PC Gold Box games.

I'll plug for Shining Soul II again. Great Diablo-like with good replay value with lots of little secrets and quirks that have kept me engaged with it off and on for almost two decades now, despite the lackluster story. And if you've got buddies with copies, the multiplayer for it is a great cherry on top.

Incredibly, no one mentioned Fire Emblem series: three original titles all available in english (two also in other languages) plus an avalanche of Fe hacks (new maps, new portraits, new animations and new storylines). Andaron Saga, Vision Quest, Sacred Echoes, Last Promise, Code of Black Knights, Lonely Mirror, Justice and Pride, Host of Dark to name a few. 😉

I see many good recommendations in the replies, I'll add some more:

  • Kingdom Hearts Chain of Memories
  • Sword of Mana
  • Boktai 1-3
  • Final Fantasy Tactics Advance
  • If you like Golf, Mario Golf Advance Tour
  • If you like pinballs, Pokemon Pinball Ruby and Sapphire
  • A niche weird game, Kuru Kuru Kururin
Although I haven't played personally, I've read Scurge and Gunstar are recommendable. And maybe Sonic Advance 1-3,
