Hacking Custom Nintendont System Menu Channels for Wii/vWii

Worked a channel for Prince of Persia Trilogy, Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones!

Now launching the game is really faster than by menans of Loaders or Homebrew Channel + NintendoNT , I'll enjoy+

And a 'customize' question:

I've tried in Pop's II and III, add the menu game music to the wad channel, as you did in PoP I instead of 'GC disc music'

I've added the PCM wav (less than 25 sec.) as a New Sound, just before push 'create Wad' (after select ID GXXX, insert loader.dol and select 'comex')

Wad file created is now a huge 6 MB (instead 2 MB of standard music wad), and when I try channel in Wii, seems to be correct, but when launch it, Console Error...

May be a problem of the PCM format, or really sound must no be inserted as i do?

How did you get a 2 MB wad in PoP I, using a reduced quality of the wav file?

use convert to bns option in customiizemii to compress the sound

Which links are dead? I moved the files to mediafire!
As for v3.385, I didn't check if the autoboot feature works since a long time.
I'll take a look at 3.385 and possibly latest 4.413 and update the sources accordingly later.
what do you mean by 720p, if you want widescreen option on on wiiu it is possible, if you want to add custom width on wii/wiiu it is also possible.
Let me know in more details so that I can give the best advice.

Yes, i want widescreen in 720p. The nintendont v3.385 is the only one who is working fine with games on sd and widescreen.
That's why i prefer to work with this version

With previous version, even if i choose widescreen, games aren't fullscreen but in 4:3. With "720p" activated, games are in fullscreen.

I managed to update the sources to v4.413

All you need to do is edit trunk/loader/source/main.c to select the settings you want
I already tested Animal crossing on SD
It's fully based on the mastermod so it can load custom backgrounds and bios if the files are present
You only need to run /trunk/Makeme.bat to create the new loader.dol
then update the wad file as described in the tutorial in first page

I just tried and TortoiseSvn give me a big red cross when trying to patch

"autoboot-theme-loading-bar.patch" is in nintendont.git/trunk/nintendont/

I believe 387 wont work for you

force widescreen option in the settings or increase the width in nintendont settings and see when it's as desired
