Hello everyone, I have been doing plenty of reading, watching, and searching but most information seems to be out of date. With lots of people claiming that Tubehax doesn't work anymore. I tried blocking the Nintendo servers using my router to no avail (tested the settings with http://www.kloth.net/services/nslookup.php ).

What is the current method used to block updates? I have my SD card ready to go but can't test it till I know I have the update servers blocked. Thank you

I really need to know the answer to that question. I have it all setup but if it isnt working and I allow my wiiu to connect I'm assuming it'll try and update right away?

Wait, so is tubehax still working or not? Thanks.

I've got the tubehax DNS settings setup on my wii-u connection and everythings working sweet.

These are all my router URL blocking settings too. Used in conjunction with tubehax, you should never ever have an accidental update!

Guess that confirms it. Wonder what people were talking about when they said "TubeHax DNS has been permanently patched" Thats some of the only info I can find when searching for tubehax on this form. 3DS related?

Thanks for that list. How are you testing these? Or are you just assuming they are working as you've never had an issue? I've read that people use this site (http://www.kloth.net/services/nslookup.php) but it doesnt seem to work for me.

My unit is on 5.3.2 and i don't self host files, i always use wi-fi to launch my exploits and i've never had an update nag or automatic update. Been using it like that for 6 months, so far so good :)

If I block updates using the wiiu MAC adress, how will I connect to the sites needed to open loadiine? (such as http://www.wiiubru.com/nokernel.html).
If your using nokernel.html , your already on a 5.5+ firmware anyways , but blocking to avoid further updates can be done by self hosting , read the definitive guide..... in the stickies on how to..
